Well, today is the day when I fly off to Anchorage, Alaska, to start my trip. However, by the time I land, there will not be enough time to try and get my bike out of customs, so this will have to wait another day.
The first flight was delayed by 50 minutes, but the next one was on time, so it just meant less of a stopover.
I eventually made it all the way to Alaska and got a taxi to Frenchy's Adventure B&B, where I had planned to stay for the first two nights, allowing me time to get my bike and everything sorted ready for the trip ahead.
I hope your bike got across safely - if not, as you have a long visa, you could walk the route as a backup plan :-)
