Day 70

First stop of the day, was London Bridge...

Honest, it is a London Bridge, but here in the US.

Now a road trip in the US would not be complete without doing part of Route 66.

And this time, it is on my own bike!

Just loving this road and scenery.

Old ghost town of Oatman, but there is life in it today!

View from the top of Sitgreaves Pass

A well restored classic gas station on Route 66.

Day 69

Change of direction, as now I am heading north east...

The Salton Sea, with the surface below sea level !

More great scenery on the roads less travelled.

Day 68

Leaving San Diego, heading over the border for a short trip into Mexico. Unfortunately, just half a day, as the trip plans have changed now and time is running out.

When I got to my campground back in the US I was thinking how nice it is not to have to worry about the bears...
... but then again!

Day 67

I spent the day around San Diego.
First was a ride out close to the border of Mexico, then I went to Balboa Park where I went to the Automotive Museum and then onto look at some motorcycle shops.

I remember having a poster of the Lamborghini Countach on my bedroom wall many years ago!

This BMW motorcycle is older and cleaner than mine.

What a fabulous car, read below...

Day 65

Continuing down the coastal road towards the south of LA...

Day 64

Riding the LA part of PCH.
Todd did warn me that traffic would be heavy and progress would be slow along the coastal route, and he was right.
I also called in to a couple of the Harley Davidson dealers, which I always enjoy.
